Description
The scroll of the mouse wheel should zoom big image in and out in Web.
On Mac OS 10.8 (and possibly on other versions of Mac) this behaviour is actually valid only in Firefox.
Both Chrome and Safari do not zoom in and out on scrolling the mouse wheel.
Confirmed on my machine after Blazej reported it first on Chrome his during 5.0.2rc1 testing, see line 30 in the Testers report https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bIqHJAx9HyAVAh6i1WNv2spNSB_k9jIproo21shOPAA/edit#gid=2071602124

For some reason PanoJS has that off on Mac
// The dafault is to pan with wheel events on a mac and zoom on other systems PanoJS.USE_WHEEL_FOR_ZOOM = (navigator.userAgent.indexOf("Mac OS X")>0 ? false: true);
I cannot find any explanations why, but it is possible to turn it off and have zoom available on all OSes

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
This only applies to big images, where the +, 1:1, - triad is visible in the top-left corner. That makes use of PanoJS. Even the demo on the PanoJS project website has this deficiency between Firefox and Chrome (http://www.dimin.net/software/panojs/). Maybe worth an issue on https://github.com/dimin/panojs/issues?page=1&state=open?
