BUG: Cannot switch group after importing data

Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Log in to Insight as a user who is a member of multiple groups.
- Launch the importer within Insight.
- Import a file.
- Close the importer.
- Attempt to switch to a different group. A "Switch Group" prompt appears as expected, but then the group is not actually changed.
