Data Manager

A demo movie (Quicktime, AVI) of the Data manager illustrates some of its functionalities.

Overview

The DataManager serves as the major portal for the user into his/her data hierarchies. It contains three areas:

• Left-hand Pane or Selection Area: Displays a traditional tree-based view of the data hierarchies. By default, it starts with a Project/Dataset/Image view
• Middle Pane or Working Area: Displays a thumbnails view or a table view of the selection. It is used to select/filter to work on
• Right-hand Pane or Metadata Browser Area: Displays and work on metadata e.g. annotation linked to a selected item.

Feature include

• Manage data: modified, delete etc.
• Large and Fast thumbnails display
• Advanced Search facility
