Future Work

The current UI is very rough, there will be a lot of changes occurring soon.

• Add more tools to the UI
  • Line connection tools.
• Allow the rotation of all objects on the drawing window.
• Allow the addition of Text to figures which are not part of text objects.
  • this is possible but not in the basic Figure objects of JHotDraw
• Add additional styles to the Figure objects
  • Line endings
  • Line Styles
• Fix the bezier object so that that control points are not completely broken during free hand drawing.
• Add propagation tool.
• Rework windows, far too many windows all of them are really ugly.
  • Create an extension of the JFrame object which would allow windows to have a magnetic property similar to the inspector tools of Omnigraffle.
• Add basic measurement to the tool.
• Add new UI views
  • If ROIObject is not on current plane then add option to make that object visible in current plane but alpha.
• Add to Insight Important.

Big Issues

• Need to think about Zooming
• Need to think about showing multiple Planes for ROIRelationships across time, z and channels.
