OMERO.insight

OMERO.insight (code name Shoola Java Client) is the official client for use with an OMERO.server.
OMERO.insight focuses on delivering a client for the visualization and manipulation of both image data and metadata maintained at an OMERO server site.
OMERO.insight is completely written in the Java programming language (version 1.5 or later).
OMERO.editor is a standalone tool for editing metadata. For more details, see the OMERO.editor page.

Current Development Cycle

We are currently working on the Beta3 build, which should be considered Beta software. The last build milestone (Beta2) focused on data management, rendering and basic image processing and measurement.

The current build milestone (Beta3) is focusing further on image compression and tagging.
