I managed to reproduce this on Andrew's 10.6 laptop. He was using Ice 3.3 in MacPorts, but had the same link error as Jerome.
Using the Ice libraries built for our internal use:
curl http://www.glencoesoftware.com/mac/10.6/Ice-3.3.1-64.tar.bz2 > Ice-3.3.1-64.tar.bz2 tar xjf Ice-3.3.1-64.tar.bz2 export LIBPATH=`pwd`/Ice-3.3.1-64/lib export CPPPATH=`pwd`/Ice-3.3.1-64/include
succeeds. If you are having trouble compiling against Ice 3.3 on Mac 10.6, please give these a try a let us know how it goes.
