Plan to write a couple of scripts to handle the use case below.
Idea is to Tag users with E.g. "MBChB_2012" and then batch add or move these users from different groups to control access to image sets.
My hope is that I can give tailored access to several groups. My best case would be that I could give access to medical students as and when I give them lectures on the histology of particular tissues. I believe the medical class is about 175 students and as this would stretch across a number of years (this type of integration is in the curriculum planning stage at the moment), I would hope that say 700 students would each have access to a very limited set of slides at any one time. I would also like for the 75 BDS students to have access to a more extensive slide set for their first year, and similarly the BSc students in Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology (about 55 students) would need a rather extensive slide set in the first semester (if I had to prioritize these, I would say it was BSc, BDS, MBChB).

No specific requirement for this functionality now, since it seems we can manage with all images in one group with universal access and simply use Projects and Datasets for organisation. Closing...
