Description

jQuery 1.5 has had a complete Ajax re-write. Any usage of .ajax() needs to be reviewed and ported to the new infrastructure.

Needed to fix contentType: 'json' in a couple of places in metadata_general.html. No other known issues with jQuery upgrade.
